Living Lab Energy Campus

Living Lab Energy Campus is an integrated infrastructure for investigating future sustainable local energy systems on the basis of decentralized and renewable energies. Making use of extensive instrumentation and implementation of a data acquisition and control system and also of demonstrator units, it allows the real-time analysis, design and operational optimization of energy systems. It thus yields a complex and realistic blueprint for local neighbourhoods and regional system cells, leading to a sustainable and resilient development of decentralized systems on the basis of simulation tools for their optimized design and the integrated operation of their individual components.
